Wald is a painter, born and raised in Los Angeles, California and currently studying at Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, Israel. During that time also has studied at The Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, "New Academy of Fine Arts" in Rome.

With a primary focus on oil painting on wood and drawing, often figurative, the work surrounds women, and their interpersonal experiences exploring nudity, our comfort in our own bodies, dressing and undressing them.

Wald also created and currently leads an art course at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv in the rehabilitation ward, focusing on artistic rehabilitation physically and mentally for adult patients.
